Daily, thousands of people are starving all around the globe, even though there is enough food for everyone. Even in Germany, which is one of the “richest” countries of the world, we work for a salary that is rarely enough. Thats the everyday madness of capitalist societies – but why? How is capitalism connected with private property, the way things are produced, labour, that so called “Capital” and “Surplus Value”? And why does everyone talk about Karl Marx?
This workshop will give you a brief and low-level introduction in the analysis of Marx and to the critiques of capitalism. At the same time we will show you, why a critique of capitalism is a key part of every left movement around the globe. This workshop is specifically made for people without prior knowledge.
